<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide support in distinguishing whether or not a subject suffers from a predetermined disease by setting a plurality of regions in a tomographic image of the subject and comparing the tomographic image of the subject with tomographic images of those who belong to a specific group.SOLUTION: An image diagnosis support system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a subject data storage unit 11; a normal healthy person data storage unit 12; a region data storage unit 20 for storing region data presenting a plurality of regions in tomographic images; means 15, 17, and 18 for determining whether or not each of the plurality of regions is a feature region where a tomographic image of the subject has characteristics different from those of a tomographic image of the normal healthy person by comparing the tomographic image of the subject with the tomographic image of the normal healthy person; a differentiation data storage unit 21 for storing differentiation data by diseases; and a matching unit 19 for comparing the result of determination with the differentiation data.</p> |
