The present invention relates to a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet and to a method for manufacturing same. Provided is a method for manufacturing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet, which includes: after hot rolling a steel slab so as to produce a hot-rolled strip, performing or omitting a hot-rolled strip annealing process; and then performing a cold rolling process, a decarbonization and nitrification annealing process, and a final high-temperature annealing process. The decarbonization and nitrification annealing process is performed in the dew point range of 35 to 55̊C. Glassless additives including MgO are applied in the final high-temperature annealing process. Also, provided is a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet manufactured by said method.
