Method for producing macroalgae in industrial scale, involves providing culture medium comprising 20-50 wt.%, preferably 25-40 wt.% sea water and 50-80 wt.%, preferably 60-75 wt.% solution containing heap salt with respect to total weight, and adding 2-4 wt.%, preferably 3 wt.% macroalgae in the culture medium, culturing macroalgae and isolating macroalgae, or providing and mixing the seawater and heap salt to obtain culture medium, optionally providing fresh water, and producing macroalgae. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) use of a mixture comprising 20-50 wt.%, preferably 25-40 wt.% sea water and 50-80 wt.%, preferably 60-75 wt.% solution containing heap salt with respect to total weight, and 2-4 wt.%, preferably 3 wt.% macroalgae; and (2) method for preparing the culture medium for culturing macroalgae.
