The present invention relates to a device for measuring fine dust. The technical problem to be solved is to provide a device and a method for measuring fine dust, wherein the concentration of fine dust is measured when fine dust is introduced, a user is informed of dangers caused by the concentration of the fine dust, and the user is also informed not only of the dangers caused by the concentration of the fine dust but also volatile organic compounds which are harmful to the human body. The device according to the present invention comprises: a fine dust measuring unit which measures the concentration of fine dust in the air and generates fine dust concentration information corresponding to the concentration of the fine dust; a display unit which is coupled with the fine dust measuring unit and receives the inputted fine dust concentration information so as to digitize and display the fine dust concentration information; a speaker disposed around the display unit; and a fine dust alarm unit which is coupled with the fine dust measuring unit and receives the inputted fine dust concentration information so as to output alarm signs for informing of the dangers to the display unit and also output an alarm sound through the speaker when the fine dust concentration information exceeds a predetermined fine dust concentration standard value. Accordingly, by means of the present invention, a user in the home or office can be visually alerted of dangerous fine dust conditions through the alarm signs and can also be acoustically alerted of dangerous fine dust conditions through an alarm sound, so that he/she can immediately cope with the fine dust. |
