<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower increased in intensity against the rotation of a commutator.SOLUTION: An electric blower includes: a rotor 5 having a shaft 6 having an armature core 7, a commutator 9 and a bering 10 penetrated therethrough, and an armature winding 8; a stator formed by winding a field winding on a field core arranged outside the rotor 5; a carbon brush 13 supplying power to the commutator 9; and a bracket 12 enclosing the rotor 5 and the stator. The commutator 9 includes a plurality of commutator pieces 20 arranged independently on the circumference thereof, and having a connection part 25 connecting the armature winding 8 to the end on a side of the armature core 7, and a resin mold material 21 fixing each of the commutator pieces 20, in which the entire outside end on a side opposite to the armature core 7 is covered with an almost cylindrical bottomed lid body 26 integrally formed of an insulating material, allowing intensity to be easily increased compared to a conventional commutator, and contributing to improvements in durability and reliability of the electric blower.</p> |
