The present invention provides a method for colouring keratin fibres, more particularly the hair, characterized in that it is carried out in at least two steps, by sequential application to the keratin fibres of: -a dyeing composition(a)comprising one or more dyes chosen from chromene dyes and chroman dyes, and -a composition (b) comprising one or more polyphenolic acids chosen from tannic acid, gallic acid, ellagic acid and the salts of these acids. The present invention additionally provides a composition and a kit which are appropriate for the implementation of this method. |
