The cell (1) has an electrochemical element (4) including a positive current collector (5) and a negative current collector (6) arranged within a housing (2). The positive current collector is connected to a positive power-tap (7) on an outer surface of the housing or a lid (3). The negative current collector is connected to a negative power-tap (8) on the outer surface of the housing or the lid. The lid is connected to the housing by a glass solder. The electrochemical element is fastened on the lid through the current collectors. The lid and the housing are made of a metal material.
