<p>The present invention provides a method and system for data controlling and relates to the technical field of computer. The method includes: receiving a request to read data sent by a cloned virtual machine; determining which mirror the data block requested by the data reading request belongs to; when the data block requested by the reading request belongs to a base mirror, reading the data block from the memory, and sending the data block to the cloned virtual machine; when the data block requested by the reading request belongs to an update mirror, reading the data block from a disk, and sending the data block to the memory, then reading the data block from the memory, and sending the data block to the cloned virtual machine.</p> |
