The present invention relates to a forward-looking imaging radar and, more specifically, to a method for improving image quality of a forward-looking imaging radar, which is capable of improving azimuth resolution in the forward-looking imaging radar and simultaneously suppressing side robes. According to the present invention, azimuth resolution can be improved without a repeated process while improving a side robe level.
