This display control device (100), which displays traffic-congestion-related information superimposed onto a map displayed by a display unit (106), is provided with the following: a first acquisition unit (101) that acquires traffic-congestion information; a computation unit (102) that computes a traffic-congestion degree for each of a number of prescribed points on the map on the basis of the traffic-congestion information acquired by the first acquisition unit (101); a partitioning unit (103) that partitions map information into a plurality of first regions; and a display control unit (105) that makes the display unit (106) display second regions indicating prescribed traffic-congestion degrees on the basis of traffic-congestion degrees for a plurality of points in the first regions.
