Disclosed is a valve handle protection cap capable of preventing a handle from being opened and closed due to carelessness of a worker and also capable of enabling a user to open and close the handle quickly without being disassembled in an emergency situation. A valve handle protection cap for protecting a handle by being installed in a valve includes a valve body, a housing combined to the top of the valve body, a stem screwed to the housing to be elevated, a handle rotating the stem, a stem protection tube extended to the handle from the top of the housing, and a lock nut screwed on an outer circumference of the stem protection tube, wherein the valve handle protection cap of the present invention includes an inner guide having a horizontal disc type fixing piece having an insertion groove extended to the center from one side of the outer circumference in order to be inserted into the stem protection tube between the housing and the lock nut; and a cover having a skirt installed to be able to be elevated in the inner guide while having an annular ring shape surrounding the outer circumference of the handle. The cover surrounds and protects the handle not to be opened or closed randomly in a normal situation, and exposes the handle to be able to be opened or closed without disassembling the cover in an emergency situation. |
