PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent expansion of damage due to overcurrent when short circuit occurs.SOLUTION: In an optical scanning endoscope according to an embodiment of the invention, an optical scanning unit comprises a heater that has a pair of first wires connected with a control circuit and heats a closed space near an actuator with current flowing serially through the first wires. The control circuit for controlling an operation of the optical scanning unit comprises: a ground terminal that connects one of the first wires to a ground; a current driver that is connected with the other of the first wires and sucks the current from the ground terminal through the first wires; and a current limiter that is inserted serially between the other of the first wires and the current driver and limits the current flowing to the first wires. |
