PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tide utilizing power generator capable of generating power by accumulating energy efficiently even if a quite low variation in tide occurs.SOLUTION: The tide utilizing power generator comprises: a float 2 floating on a sea surface L and moving up and down as tide level changes; a conversion mechanism 3 for converting vertical motion of the float 2 into a rotating motion; springs 4a, 4b wound through rotating motion converted by the conversion mechanism 3; and a power generator 5 rotationally driven by the springs 4a, 4b. The vertical motion of the float 2 moved upward or downward as the tide level changes is converted into a rotating motion, the springs 4a, 4b are wound through the rotational motion and the tide energy is optionally accumulated at the springs 4a, 4b, so that as required the power generator 5 is rotationally driven by the springs 4a, 4b to enable the power generation to be carried out. |
