PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle detection device of a construction machine capable of switching output characteristics even in a non-contact system.SOLUTION: An angle detection device 16 of a construction machine comprises: a rotary shaft 19 which rotates in accordance with the rotation of a member constituting a work device 4 of a hydraulic shovel; a magnet 34 fixed to the rotary shaft 19; and an angle detection part 39 having a magnetic detection element 35 for detecting the change of a magnetic field accompanied by the rotation of the magnet 34 for outputting a voltage signal corresponding to the angle of rotation of the rotary shaft 19. The angle detection device is configured so as to be switchable to first output characteristics that according to the rotation of the rotary shaft 19 in one direction, the voltage signal is increased and second output characteristics that according to the rotation of the rotary shaft 19 in the opposite direction, the voltage signal is increased.
