<p>In order to operate a brake override system appropriately in response to the conditions without sacrificing operability, a vehicle (10) is equipped with: an acceleration detection unit (15) that detects the amount of pressing of the gas pedal; brake detection units (16, 17) that detect pressing of the brake pedal; vehicle speed detection units (18, 21) that detect the vehicle speed; and an output limiting means (23) that limits the engine output when a limiting condition is satisfied, wherein the amount of pressing of the gas pedal as detected by the acceleration detection unit (15) is equal to or greater than a prescribed amount, pressing of the brake pedal is detected by the brake detection units (16, 17), and the vehicle speed detected by the vehicle speed detection units (18, 21) is equal to or greater than a prescribed vehicle speed.</p> |
