This display system (100) is equipped with a display device (110) and a control unit (120). The display device (110) has a parallax image display unit (112) for displaying a parallax image and a half mirror (114) that is provided in front of the parallax image display unit (112). The control unit (120) controls a display depth position, that is, a display position in the depth direction of the parallax image display unit (112), of the parallax image displayed on the parallax image display unit (112). Specifically, the control unit (120) performs the control such that the display depth position is located to the back of the half mirror (114). The display system allows eyes to simultaneously focus on information displayed on the display and on a mirror image.
