When an open guide 25 is in a closed state and the upper side of the drum 21 is closed in the temporary holding part 15, the knob cover 32 is set to a covering state via a stud 34 to inhibit the operation on the operation knob 31, whereby the degree of jamming of paper money can be prevented from becoming worse. When the open guide 25 is turned from the closed state in an opening direction T1 and the upper side of the drum 21 is opened in the temporary holding part 15, the knob cover 32 is turned in an exposing direction U1 into an exposed state by a function of the spring 35, whereby the drum 21 is allowed to be manually rotated by the operation of the operation knob 31 while an escape route for separated paper money BL is secured. |
