PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device which has higher transmittance for light in a wavelength range where sensitivity is high in human visual sense characteristics and for light in a wavelength range where degradation by light is easily caused, and which is bright and reduces progression of degradation by light.SOLUTION: The electro-optic device comprises: an element substrate body 10a; and a storage capacitance 17 comprising a pixel electrode 15, a capacitive electrode 16 disposed between the element substrate body 10a and the pixel electrode 15 and opposing to the pixel electrode 15, and a dielectric layer 14. A spectral distribution of light transmitted through the element substrate body 10a and the storage capacitance 17 shows peaks in a wavelength range from 530 nm to 590 nm and in a wavelength range from 400 nm to 460 nm. |
