PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-circular foil bearing which can attenuate the vibration of a shaft.SOLUTION: The multi-circular foil bearing comprises an outer member 11, and a plurality of foils 13 which are attached to an internal peripheral face 11a of the outer member 11, and directly oppose one another in the radial direction without interposing the internal peripheral face 11a of the outer member 11 and the other member (back foil or the like) therebetween. Each foil 13 is composed of holding parts 13a, 13b which are arranged at both ends in circumferential directions and held so as to contact with the outer member 11, and a main body 13c arranged between the circumferential directions of the holding parts 13a 13b, and having a bearing face A. The holding part 13a arranged at one end of each foil 13 in the circumferential direction is held to a fixing groove 11b formed at the internal peripheral face 11a of the outer member 11 so as to be slidable to the groove. |
