<p>Provided is a virtual device reestablishing technique, in the method whereof a second VTL node takes over the entry address of a first VTL node, acquires the configuration information, device address and entry address of the virtual device, and the output address of a backup server, generates a reestablished virtual device with the configuration information, distributes the device address to the reestablished virtual device, and establishes a mapping relationship between the reestablished virtual device, the entry address of the VTL device and the output address of the backup server. By applying the reestablished virtual device of the present invention, a service being backed up by an original virtual device can be smoothly taken over.</p> |
