摘要 The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a volume seat cover for a vehicle using heat-press molding and a volume seat cover for a vehicle manufactured by the same and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a volume seat cover for a vehicle using heat-press molding and a volume seat cover for a vehicle manufactured by the same, wherein a volume seat foam is manufactured by inputting, into a heat press, a foam with a predetermined thickness as a volume seat cover, which is connected to a seat cushion and a seat back seating surface of the vehicle, and compressing the foam by heat, but the volume seat cover for a vehicle is manufactured in a manner of forming the volume seat foam with a volume part and a compressed part formed therein by compressing the volume seat foam by heat while a metal jig machined into the shape of a volume seat to be manufactured is attached to a lower surface of an upper plate of the heat press and an upper surface of a lower plate thereof, and then of loading an upper plate fabric piece on a curved surface of the volume seat foam and connecting the compressed part of the volume seat foam with the upper plate fabric piece by sewing. By manufacturing the volume seat cover for a vehicle using the method of the present invention, characteristics such as comfort, flexibility, and elasticity can be maintained at a level at least equivalent to the conventional technology, the manufacturing process can be simplified while not causing problems such as fabric loosening and fabric surface wrinkling to significantly improve the production speed, thereby drastically improving the productivity, and the sewing can be facilitated while reducing production costs to improve the quality compared with the existing method and dramatically reduce the failure rate, thereby efficiently manufacturing a large amount of volume seat covers about tens of thousands to millions of pieces.
