PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable navigation device which can properly determine change of transportation means by a user and automatically perform route guidance corresponding to new transportation means after the change.SOLUTION: A route guidance processing unit 114 is configured to perform route guidance via a display unit 110 by using a current location acquired by a GPS unit 109 and a route search result corresponding to transportation means. A transportation means determination unit 115 determines current transportation means of a user according to condition of its own device. When the determination result indicates that the current transportation means is different from target transportation means of current route guidance, a change control unit 116 functions to perform change control for performing route guidance corresponding to the new transportation means. |
