PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-up control method of boost converter, capable of performing both primary and secondary step-ups using a boost converter without an additional hardware.SOLUTION: A step-up control method of a boost converter includes following steps of: analyzing a battery condition before step-up and determining whether the battery is normal or not; shifting to a boost mode 1 and allowing a boost converter to perform a primary step-up on the electric voltage of a bus edge; analyzing the condition data for the primary step-up and determining whether there is an abnormality or not at the bus edge of which the electric voltage is to be increased; shifting to a boost mode 2 if there is no abnormality at the bus edge; and increasing the electric voltage of the bus edge up to the final target value. At this time, a fuel cell is started up by achieving a pre-charge function of the boost converter by a software algorithm method.
