PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory device which can effectively reduce a latency when data memorized in the semiconductor memory device are read by a host device, and can avoid or suppress an increase in a product cost and complication of cache control.SOLUTION: A control section 24 reads first content data from a semiconductor memory 5 on the basis of a first reading address set by an address setting section 23 and stores the read first content data in a first data buffer 11, and outputs the first content data from the first data buffer 11 to a host device 2. The control section 24 reads second content data from the semiconductor memory 5 on the basis of a second reading address which is set by the address setting section 23 after the first reading address and stores the read second content data in a second data buffer 12, and outputs the second content data from the second data buffer 12 to the host device 2. |
