<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect whether or not deviation of developer occurs in a developing device, as well as which side in a direction of a rotation shaft the developer is deviated when the deviation of the developer occurs, and eliminates the deviation of the developer to suppress aggregation of toner.SOLUTION: A determination unit 100a estimates the amount of developer in the vicinity of a magnetic permeability sensor S1 from detection data obtained from the magnetic permeability sensor S1, and determines deviation of developer in a direction of a rotation shaft from the estimated amount of developer and torque values detected by torque sensors Sa and Sb. When the developer is determined to be deviated to one side in the direction of the rotation shaft, a control unit 100 rotationally drives a first conveying screw 26 and a second conveying screw 27 so as to convey a large amount of developer from the one side where there is a large amount of developer to the other side where there is a small amount of developer.</p> |
