DATA GENERATING PROGRAM AND DATA GENERATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a reusable reduced image data whose content is easily grasped during preview display of a document.SOLUTION: A data generation program is operated by a device for generating data of a reduced image for preview-displaying a document on a screen smaller in a size than a printing size of the document. The program allows the device to perform first processing for extracting a specified object which is previously selected from individual pages of the document, second processing for plotting the specified object at reusable first resolution by prescribed processing after preview display and plotting the other object except for the specified object at second resolution lower than the first resolution and third processing for generating data of the reduced image by synthesizing an image plotted at the first resolution and an image plotted at the second resolution.
