PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of a mobile device that the user is within a femtocell.SOLUTION: When a user wearing a mobile device 11 which exists within a macrocell enters into a femtocell F as indicated by the white arrow A, and the mobile device 11 moves from the macrocell to the femtocell, a femtocell base station 1 detects that the mobile device 11 exists within the femtocell F. When the existence of the mobile device 11 is detected, the femtocell base station 1 reproduces internally stored audio data and outputs an audio message from speakers 4, such as 'You are in the femtocell,' which notifies the user that the user is within the femtocell F. The invention can be applied to a femtocell base station.
