PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique enabling prevention of an engine stall after a vehicle is stopped by emergency braking in the state of deterioration of fuel economy being prevented.SOLUTION: In performing emergency braking, a CVT control part 6 controls a lockup clutch 8 to be disengaged before performing the aforementioned emergency braking, thus preventing the CVT control part 6 from controlling the lockup clutch 8 to be unnecessarily disengaged. This makes it possible to prevent deterioration of fuel economy caused by the CVT control part 6 controlling the lockup clutch 8 to be disengaged. It is therefore possible to effectively prevent occurrence of an engine stall as a result of delayed control in switching the lockup clutch 8 to be disengaged after a vehicle is stopped by emergency braking, in the state of deterioration of fuel economy being prevented. |
