PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a theft prevention target device from being fraudulently transferred, without adding an apparatus to a system.SOLUTION: Theft detection without adding an apparatus is implemented by performing authentication using MAC addresses of other network apparatuses 1e, 1h, and 1i connected to a secure gateway device 1g as existing systems, when the secure gateway device 1g starts up. Setting a plurality of network apparatuses as authentication objects enhances security strength and further suppresses erroneous detection. Restoration from a theft state is implemented even from a network apparatus having a different MAC address, by release operation using mutual authentication by HTTPS or the like or by release operation using linking-up order and combinations of network ports registered in advance.
