The invention relates to monoepitopic or polyepitopic peptidic compounds of sequence SEQ ID N° 1 to 16 and to the analogous, mutein and homologous derivatives thereof, for the prevention and treatment of Leishmaniases in mammals and especially in humans, canines, felines and equines. The invention especially relates to vaccines comprising said peptidic compounds in conditions ensuring immunisation leading to effective protection of the vaccinated human or animal against at least one Leishmania.
