The invention relates to an exhaust gas system comprising an exhaust gas channel for receiving exhaust gas from an exhaust gas generator at the exhaust gas channel inlet and for discharging the exhaust gas at the exhaust gas channel outlet, comprising a valve in the exhaust gas channel, comprising a suction fan arranged in the exhaust gas channel downstream of the valve for conducting the exhaust gas within the exhaust gas channel in the direction of the outlet, and comprising a regulating device. The aim of the invention is to save on energy and costs. This is achieved by an alternative regulating process for the exhaust gas system, wherein the degree of opening of the valve is adjusted to a specified target degree of opening by varying the rotational speed of the suction fan in a suitable manner. |
