Provided is a liquid level detection device which is configured so that an arm can be easily mounted to a holder after the holder is pivotably mounted using a cover and a body section. An end of a float arm (6) is bent at a substantially right angle, and the end side of the float arm (6) is defined as a first end section (6a). The portion of the float arm (6) which is located closer to the center of the float arm (6) than the first end section (6a) is defined as a second end section (6b). A first arm mounting section (21) to which the first end section (6a) is affixed and second arm mounting sections (22, 23) to which the second end section (6b) is affixed are provided to a holder (2). A stopper (1e) for restricting the pivot range of the holder (2) is provided to a body section (1). A first stopper (24) which comes into contact with the stopper (1e) is provided to the holder (2). The first arm mounting section (21) and the first stopper (24) are provided on a line passing through the pivot axis (S) of the holder (2) and perpendicular to the pivot axis (S). |
