<p>Provided are a method for sending a neighbor identity indication code, a user equipment (UE), and a base station. The method comprises: a UE obtaining a discovery application resource broadcast by a base station, the discovery application resource being a resource used for applying for a time-frequency resource that is required for sending a neighbor identity indication code (101); the UE applying, to the base station through the discovery application resource, for the time-frequency resource that is required for sending the neighbor identity indication code of the UE, and obtaining the time-frequency resource that is allocated by the base station to the UE and used for sending the neighbor identity indication code of the UE (102); and the UE sending the neighbor identity indication code of the UE on the obtained time-frequency resource (103). In the embodiment, the time-frequency resource used by the UE to send the neighbor identity indication code is the same as a time-frequency resource in an LTE system, so that an operator does not need to reserve a dedicated time-frequency resource for sending the neighbor identity indication code, thereby reducing the cost of the operator.</p> |
