The wiper device has hydraulic damping bearing unit (20a) which supports the wiper driving unit (12a) in a damping fluid (22a). The wiper driving unit is provided with an engine casing unit (18a) and flexible drive shaft (30a). The fluid damping bearing unit is formed integrally with a wiper fluid reservoir (24a). The damping fluid storage unit is formed integrally with a motor oil tank.
