PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lathe that can improve machining efficiency of metal fittings and smoothness of the same.SOLUTION: A lathe is provided, comprising: a pedestal; a work table mounted on the pedestal; and a transfer device mounted on the pedestal so as to be movable along a first direction, and located above the work table. The lathe further comprises: a feed driving device that is mounted on the transfer device so as to be slidable along a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction; a lathe turning feed device equipped with a cutting tool that is moved along the first direction and a third direction that is perpendicular to the second direction by the feed driving device; and a shave hook being mounted on the transfer device so as to be slidable along the second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction, and being disposed so as to be movable along the third direction. |
