PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle in which a smoothing capacitor can reliably perform discharge upon vehicle collision and the smoothing capacitor does not perform unnecessary discharge.SOLUTION: The vehicle includes: a discharge execution part 35 executing discharge control for reducing a charge accumulated in a capacitor 32; a first control unit 55 transmitting an instruction signal to a power control section 30 for power control; and a second control unit 60 transmitting obtained collision information to the first control unit 55 via communication. The first control unit 55 obtains collision prediction information indicating whether there is a possibility of a vehicle collision, and executes discharge control when (1) the collision information is received, (2) abnormality occurs to communication with the second control unit 60, and the collision prediction information indicates a possibility of vehicle collision, and (3) a voltage VB of an auxiliary power source 95 is lower than a threshold voltage VBth and the collision prediction information indicates a possibility of vehicle collision. |
