PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction welding member ensuring certain sealing in friction welding connection.SOLUTION: Friction welding members (10, 30, and 40) include head portions (12, 24, 32, and 42) having friction welding structures (14 and 15) and driving structures (16 and 34) for connecting to members (18, 20, and 50); and generates heat between friction welding processes. The head portions (12, 24, 32, and 42) are provided with materials (22, 26, 36, and 44) contacting with surfaces of members (18, 20, and 50) disposed at the nearest positions of the head portions, and at least partially melting by using the heat produced by the friction welding processes. The materials are solidified during cooling, thereby sealing a transition area from the friction welding members (10, 30, and 40) to the members (18, 20, and 50) disposed at the nearest positions of the head portions. |
