PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of surely, promptly, and easily performing a color tone measurement operation.SOLUTION: When a measurement result of a color bar 100 measured by a color tone measurement device 50 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 is transmitted to a control unit 80, the control unit 80 calculates number of color patches constituting the measured color bar 100. Specifically, the control unit 80 recognizes the color patches as different color patches on the basis of changes in measured densities, and counts the color patches. The control unit 80 obtains a center of the color bar (center in an alignment direction of the color patches) from the following equation 1: total number of measured patches/2+α...(1). |
