PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting composition excellent in terms of smoothness, heat resistance, chemical resistance, adhesiveness, hardness, electric reliability, and transparency and suitable as a protective film for a color filter, and a cured film of the same.SOLUTION: The provided thermosetting composition includes (A) an epoxy compound expressed by the general formula (1) wherein the average value of n is 0.2-1.0, (B) an epoxy compound having an epoxy equivalent of below 200 g/eq and a number-average molecular weight of below 10,000 and obtained by polymerizing or copolymerizing at least one type of polymerizable unsaturated compound including glycidyl methacrylate as an indispensable component, and (C) a curative selected from the group consisting of polycarboxylic acids, polycarboxylic anhydrides, and pyrolyzable esters of polycarboxylic acids; a cured film obtained by curing the thermosetting composition is also provided. |
