<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict forward/backward backlash of a fitted connector without requiring strict dimensional management.SOLUTION: A connector comprises: a connector housing 20 having a bendable lance 34 configured to elastically prevent separation of a terminal fitting 90 inserted in a cavity 32; a front retainer 40 having a front wall part 41 attached to the connector housing 20 from front and disposed opposite the front face of the connector housing 20 when normally attached, and also having a bend restricting piece 45 formed projecting backward from the front wall part 41 and entering the bent space 37 of the lance 34; and an elastic, forward backlash bagging part 64 located between the front face of the connector housing 20 and the front wall part 41, and compression sandwiched between the front face of the connector housing 20 and the front wall part 41 by a mating connector 100 fitted from front.</p> |
