<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose such a tatami mat as to increase the demand of tatami mat again regarding the present situation where tatami-mat flooring is eliminated further and further and changed into wooden flooring.SOLUTION: A tatami mat is produced which is more attractive than wooden flooring. The tatami mat originally has a heat insulation property more excellent than that of wooden flooring and also has soundproof effects. The tatami mat is inferior in the strength and the water proofness. This problem can be solved by a tatami-mat floor. In the case of an edgeless tatami mat, by thickening a backing board and using a front-side sheet material which is strong and unlikely to be dented, the tatami mat can be used similarly to depositing a sheet material such as a cushion floor over the floor, so as to place the piano or the like thereon. Further, the tatami mat is superior in being able to be changed on a one-mat basis and also replacing only a damaged part. The tatami mat can be processed so as to be useful in the case of disaster, to be floated in the water and also to accommodate emergency supplies therein. By using the backing board and a rear-side sheet material, the tatami mat can be used differently from conventional tatami mats.</p> |
