PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic opening and closing apparatus of an opening and closing member for a vehicle which prevents the opening and closing operation of the vehicle opening and closing member from being wrongly performed in non-contact detection and facilitates the opening and closing operation, and a structural member included in the vehicle.SOLUTION: An automatic opening and closing apparatus of an opening and closing member for a vehicle includes a non-contact detection sensor 204 provided in a side door 101. The non-contact detection sensor 204 is a sensor to detect an object in a non-contact manner, and a detection range of the non-contact detection sensor 204 is set to an inner side than an outermost position 206 of the side door 101.
