[Problem] To realize an imaging lens with reduced overall length and increased resolution, and an imaging device provided with said imaging lens. [Solution] This imaging lens essentially comprises five lenses which are, in order from the object side, a first lens (L1) having a biconvex shape and having the surface with the lower absolute value of radius of curvature facing the object side, a second lens (L2) having a negative refractive power and having a concave surface facing the image side, a third lens (L3) having a meniscus shape with the convex surface facing the object side, a fourth lens (L4) having a negative refractive power and having a meniscus shape with the convex surface facing the image side, and a fifth lens (L5) having a negative refractive power, having a meniscus shape with the concave surface facing the image side, and having at least one inflection point on the image-side surface. |
