Provided are an assembled battery system capable of performing appropriate communication, a storage battery system, and a method for monitoring and controlling the assembled battery system. The assembled battery system (100) comprises: a control unit (117) having a cell monitoring unit (116) for obtaining battery information by monitoring the battery state of each secondary battery (115) belonging to a storage battery module (110) and a wireless communication unit (118) for, inside a metal chassis (101) housing the storage battery module (110), wirelessly transmitting the battery information; and a management device (120) for, inside the metal chassis (101), wirelessly communicating with and managing each of the storage battery modules (110). The management device (120) transmits to each of the storage battery modules (110) a measurement instruction including information specifying the next measurement timing at predetermined intervals and controls the cell monitoring unit (116) to measure, according to the measurement instruction, the battery states of the storage batteries concurrently among the storage battery modules. |
