This pneumatic tire (1) is equipped with: at least three circumferential-direction main grooves (2) which extend in the circumferential direction of the tire; and multiple land sections (3) which are divided by the circumferential-direction main grooves (2). In addition, a belt layer (14) is formed by laminating a pair of cross belts (142, 143) which have belt angles which are between 10 [deg] and 45 [deg] inclusive in terms of absolute value and have different signs, and a circumferential-direction reinforcement layer (145) which has a belt angle in a range of ±5 [deg] with respect to the circumferential direction of the tire. In addition, in a cross-sectional view in the meridian direction of the tire, the distance (Dcc) from the circumferential-direction reinforcement layer (145) to a wearing end face (WE) in the equatorial plane (CL) of the tire and the distance (De) from an end of the circumferential-direction reinforcement layer (145) to the wearing end face (WE) have a relationship expressed as 1.06≤De/Dcc. In addition, the actual ground-contact width (Wg) of the tire and the carcass sectional width (Wca) of a carcass layer have a relationship expressed as 0.64≤Wg/Wca≤0.84. |
