<p>This invention relates to a system and method for eliminating or reducing noise for air-conditioning systems in vehicles comprising an air-conditioning box fitted with an inner flap (50), comprising the application of a layer of damping material (40) to areas (20) of that flap (50) which first enter into contact with the inner wall (30) of the air-conditioning box, reducing the area of impact and consequently the noise originating from that impact, the damping layer (40) also being of a hardness such that it provides a seal for the flap (50) of the air-conditioning box in addition to damping. By way of example, the material of the damping layer (40) is a rubber of hardness of approximately 45 Shore A.</p> |
