Provided are a method and a device for acquiring and providing service information. The method comprises: a management device receiving a first message sent by a serving device in a wireless network where the management device is, the first message carrying information of a service that can be provided by the serving device sending the first message; and the management device parsing the first message, acquiring the information of the service that can be provided by the serving device, and recording the information of the service that can be provided by the serving device in a service information list corresponding to the wireless network, so as to provide, when a device requests a service from the wireless network, the service request device with information indicating whether the wireless network can provide the service for the service request device. The technical solution of the present invention enables the management device to learn the information of the service that can be provided by the serving device.
