PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate including a bonding step of bonding a plurality of films with a pair of bonding rolls, in which biting of air bubbles can be suppressed even when a coating thickness of an adhesive is small.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a polarizing plate includes a bonding step of bonding a first film 1 and a second film 2 in such a manner that while a laminate including the first film 1 and the second film 2 via an adhesive is nipped in a nip part between a first bonding roll 11 and a second bonding roll 12 rotating in a conveying direction, at least one bonding roll of the first and second bonding rolls is pressed in a direction toward the other bonding roll. When a direction perpendicular to a straight line connecting the centers of the first and second bonding rolls is set as a reference direction, the first film is conveyed in the bonding step, from the first bonding roll 11 side in the nip part, forming a first angle &thetas;1 with respect to the reference direction. The first bonding roll 11 is made of a rubber; and the angle &thetas;1 is 40° or more. |
