TRANSCATHETER MITRAL VALVE PROSTHESIS Abstract A delivery system for delivering a prosthetic cardiac valve to a native valve in a patient's heart. The system comprising an inner guidewire shaft (1621) having a lumen extending therethrough, the lumen sized to slidably receive a guidewire (GW). A hub shaft (1622) concentrically disposed over the inner guidewire shaft. A bell shaft (1624) slidably and concentrically disposed over the hub shaft. A sheath (2214a) slidably and concentrically disposed over the bell shaft. A handle (1601) disposed near a proximal end of the delivery system. The handle comprising an actuator mechanism adapted to advance and retract the bell shaft and the sheath.
