<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device capable of suppressing occurrence of acoustic noise caused by voltage pulsating current when a head is retracted using a speed control method by using voltage obtained by rectifying a back electromotive force caused by rotation of a spindle motor after a power source has been cut off.SOLUTION: A retraction control circuit 63 controls on and off states of transistors Tr31 to 34 in accordance with speed of a VCM (a voice coil motor) 39. Voltage of both sides of the VCM 39 becomes voltage that can be regulated by a current value of a current circuit 82, by using a VCM voltage control circuit 80. At this time, voltage is supplied to VCMA and VCMB terminals on the basis of the voltage of ISO5V that is the rectified voltage of back electromotive force of a spindle motor and voltage pulsating current is synchronized and produced at both terminals. As a result, potential difference between both terminals of the VCM 39 is such that the voltage pulsating current is negated and acoustic noise is inhibited.</p> |
